  1. no
  2. There is no minimum or maximum age to start an acting school. 56 sounds like a perfect age to start an acting school in my opinion.
  3. not at all!!u can start taking acting lessons at any age...at my acting school at they accept adults of every age they say it doesnt matter how old u r if u have a passion for the theater the age is unimportant all ages accepted so good luck
  4. No, I don't think that 56 is to old to start acting. There are some acting classes that are for your age group. So go do what you want to do and live your life the way you want to.
  5. I don't think 56 is too old as long as you have enough security to see yourself through the process. Acting school, an agent, 8x10 photos, etc all cost money and are necessary. Also, there aren't many roles for people over 50 so most go to seasoned pros. However, one hears about people in the prime of their lives having the right "look" or the right talent to make it work. I don't think it's ever too late to give up on your dreams. I met James Cromwell when he was in his 40's and this was before he filmed "Babe". He was very positive and extremely dedicated to his craft and look what happened to him since then. He has landed plum roles in the latter part of his life. Anything is possible. But it takes many hours, a reputable acting school and coach and the willininess to put in hours, days, weeks, months and years before it may pay off. Or you could go to your first audition and get a part. You just never know in the entertainment business.
  6. 12,56 not to old for acting till u found the lights ur acting ended
  7. Absolutely not, dive in babe!!! Passion is passion, find it where you can. I continually find myself stumbling in and out of theater. I am 30 and have been acting since jr. high. Sometimes I feel more passionate than other times. You will find that the theater loves anyone who loves the theater. Never be afraid to start something, then stop, and start back again. It is about living life to the fullest, and if at this moment in your life acting classes will runneth your cup over, then go for it darlin' and never look back. Best of luck with all your endeavors.
