Drama Colleges

How soon/late can you apply for drama schools/University?

Do you need to apply for a UCAS card first. Also could you let me know what one of these is? I am looking to apply for next year so Sep 2010.

1. There is information on Drama Schools on the National Council for Drama Training Website. I don't know anything about university. I guess you would have to decide on what type of course and contact the universities you are interested in. Have found some information on second link.
