Are there any good drama/acting/music theatre schools in Melbourne, Vic for secondary school aged students?

Hi my friend is really into Drama but she's sick of staying in Ballarat and wants to find something a bit bigger and better. I know that she has great potential and that she'd almost be guaranteed a place in a drama school. I would really like to find her a school that she can audition for.

Well I am an actress too and I live in melbourne and honestly it isn't a great place to pursue acting because it's very limited I am even struggling to get signed to an agent because unfortunately it is all about connections in Australia, you can be to most talented person in the world and you won't get somewhere in this industry in melbourne. With the acting school thing also, when you audition for VCA or NIDA it isn't just making up a scene if your friend is doing year 12 drama they will know that their is a number of theatrical elements that have to be put into the piece and remember their are many talented people out there. But I Hope your friend gets somewhere. She has similar aspirations to myself. Hope it helps!
