- If you can help it try not to go to london theres so much competition down there that if she isnt amazing and dedicated then she will become over shawdowed by everyone else, and to be honest with you why not wait till she finishes her GCSE? let her concentrate on one thing at a time, drama schools is so demanding that they need 100% i would wait but if she doesnt have patience then i would try websites like ukcoursefinder and ucas you sighn up and they have all the universitys/dramaschools in the country that way you get a good description of the course and school she can go to. I dont know the exact websites but just type it in google and you should get there websites up :)
- Just look where all the current West End and TV stars went! http://www.stageregister.com/ You must be very well off to send children to some of these schools, and that seems to be the key. Very few modern stars come from poor families! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sylvia_Young_Theatre_School I think the previous answerer has a valid point. My daughter goes to two Stage Schools, but attends a normal state school! She spends three hours on Saturday mornings at Stagecoach and two nights a week at a local independent school. That way she is getting a good, not too expensive schooling in performing arts as well as her music and drama lessons at "normal" school where she is classed as Gifted and Talented in Drama! Why don't you try to get her into a state school that specializes in performing arts? there are quite a lot about and there should be one in your area if you live in London.
